We had a huge blizzard here Thursday and Friday. We got almost 2 feet of snow and the winds got up to over 60 mph. Most of the city was shut down yesterday and there were sights I had never seen before. People were snowmobiling up and down our street all day. I even saw a couple of people cross-country skiing and snowboarding down the street toward the lake!
Ben, of course, got up early, dug his car out from under 5 feet of snow and went to work as usual. He did come home a little early, though, so we could all go play in the snow while there was a little daylight. It was great. I finally got to try my new snowshoes in deep snow! They work great. Sophia pulled Caleb in a sled for awhile and then we walked over to the park where she loved how fast her snowpants made her go down the slide!

I'm glad you finally got snow! It sounds like it was a lot of fun. We watched video from you tube of people jumping off of umd into snowdrifts.
